This was posted on Facebook way back in March, but since it is all still true, we’re posting it here for easy access;
Dear Friends
At TenderLove Community Center, we want to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and prioritize the safety of our clients, staff, volunteers and community members.
Based on recommendations of the CDC, we will observe the following precautions:
Only current clients, staff and volunteers will be allowed on TenderLove Community Center properties
No new donations of fabric or other items will be accepted
We will follow all CDC recommendations for mitigation strategies, including thorough cleaning of surfaces, and self-quarantine as necessary.
Recognizing the pain and difficulty
We encourage clients, staff, volunteers to stay home if they are feeling sick, or if they have a family member or other household member who is ill
Remind one another of appropriate hygiene practices, including thorough hand washing and covering nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing
Provide tissues and no-touch disposal receptacles for use by employees.
Instruct clients, staff and volunteers to clean their hands often with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60-95% alcohol, or wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
All these precautions will be re-assessed at the end of March and every 14 days as we continue to monitor the spread of Corona Virus.
Unfortunately, our Monthly Sales scheduled for Saturday March 21st has been cancelled.
We encourage all our community to use reasonable precautions to keep ourselves and each other healthy.
If you need to reach someone at our agency, please call 505-349-1795 or email tenderloveabq@yahoo.com with any questions.
Thank you for helping keep our community healthy and safe!
Best Regards,
TenderLove Team
