Position Title: Executive Assistant
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: Albuquerque, NM (On-site)
Organizational Overview:
TenderLove Community Center (TLCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering
marginalized individuals, especially women, youth, and families experiencing homelessness or
trauma, through life skills, job training, housing support, and wraparound services.
Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the CEO and senior
leadership team, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities. This position is ideal for
a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about supporting
mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
• Manage executive calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
• Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from meetings
• Maintain accurate filing systems for organizational records and communications
Communication & Coordination
• Draft and edit correspondence, emails, and reports on behalf of the CEO
• Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders
• Coordinate logistics for board meetings, committee meetings, and special events
Operations & Project Support
• Assist with grant reporting deadlines, donor communication, and data entry
• Support the preparation of presentations, marketing materials, and reports
• Monitor timelines for key projects and ensure deliverables are met
Finance & Compliance Support
• Assist with expense reporting, invoice tracking, and documentation collection
• Provide administrative support for audits, financial reviews, and compliance tasks
Qualifications:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in an administrative support
role
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound
judgment
• Experience working in a nonprofit or human services environment is a plus
