At TenderLove Community Center, we believe that economic justice and empowerment begin with meeting people’s basic needs.

While empowerment includes education, employment, financial stability, and personal development, it also means ensuring that individuals and families have access to essential health and hygiene items that promote dignity, wellness, and self-confidence.

Since opening our doors in 2013, TenderLove Community Center has provided hygiene and basic needs assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, financial hardship, and other life challenges. Through our programs and community outreach initiatives, we distribute essential items that help improve health, restore dignity, and remove barriers to employment, education, and independent living.

Our hygiene and basic needs program provide items such as:

Need Assistance?

Individuals and families in need of hygiene supplies or other necessities are encouraged to visit our office during business hours and speak with any available staff member. We strive to connect each person with available resources and additional supportive services whenever possible.

Community members may also receive hygiene kits and other essential items through our outreach initiative, Kindness in Action, where TenderLove staff and volunteers distribute necessities directly to individuals experiencing homelessness and other marginalized populations throughout the community.

Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to the basic necessities they need to live with dignity, health, and hope.
