Kindness in Action

Beginning in the summer of 2024, we establish a new program to make it possible to reach lots of unhoused individuals at once, in a day of food, water, and helping people sign up for referral-free housing.

In 2025, we focused our efforts on an additional kindness: we started a Shoe Drive in July, and in August we invited our clients and other unhoused individuals to meet us in a local park, where we provided food, water and a chance to find footware, while still helping people sign up for referral-free housing.

In 2026, we are establishing a Hygiene Bank, that will allow us to accept donations of hygiene items to provision not only our own clients, but others in need. In the spirit of Kindness in Action, we will again meet in a park location, this time offering Hygiene items as well as food, water and sign-ups for referral-free housing.  Date and location will be announced on our Events page, and through social media through local media.
